Smith & Nephew Acquires Maker of Arthroscopic Patient Positioning Equipment

Smith & Nephew has acquired Tenet Medical Engineering, a Canadian company that sells surgical patient positioning equipment for arthroscopic surgery, according to a news release from Smith & Nephew.

The Calgary, Alberta-based company’s products complement Smith & Nephew’s existing arthroscopy portfolio, and they will be sold through the Smith & Nephew Endoscopy Division.

 

Smith & Nephew Endoscopy has had a distribution agreement for Tenet products.
