Report: Hospitals in Quality Improvement Initiative Save $110M

Hospitals reduced readmissions and medically unnecessary early elective deliveries through a quality improvement program, resulting in a total savings of $110 million, according to an American Hospital Association report.

The Health Research and Educational Trust, an AHA affiliate, works with CMS to support HEN, which provides education and training to more than 1,600 hospitals recruited by 31 state hospital association partners.
