During the tour, Rep. Barrow learned from Dr. Murrell and Clinical Nurse Manager Michelle Reaves about the ASC’s operations, including the patient cycle of care and ASC finances.

Dr. Murrell and Rep. Barrow also discussed the benefits ASCs provide the healthcare system, challenges ASCs face, Medicaid reimbursement and improving healthcare for indigent patients.
