The babies were exposed when a visitor, who later fell ill and tested positive for tuberculosis, visited the neonatal unit in late August. County public health officials said the hospital should not be held liable for the exposure and the babies are unlikely to contract the disease. As a precaution, the babies will undergo antibiotic treatment and follow-up examinations.
