Proposed Tennessee Surgery Center Granted CON

An outpatient surgery center to be built in Lebanon, Tenn., has received certificate-of-need approval from the Tennessee Health Services and Development Agency, according to a report in the Nashville Business Journal.

The center is owned by Lebanon Healthcare Partners and will be managed by Keith Bolton, president of Specialty Surgery Centers of America. It will offer orthopedics, gynecology, plastic surgery, podiatry and oral surgery, according to the report.

It will include three operating rooms and one procedure room and is expected to open by the end of 2011.
