The project will interview 10 hospitals regarding various technology management issues, including whether there are major needs that technology managers could fill and the visibility of biomeds and clinical engineers to hospital executives.
The results will be compiled in a white paper that will include a profile of the current state of medical technology, barriers and challenges to achieving effective equipment management and recommended potential projects.
