The existing contracted Prexus surgical facilities in Southwest Ohio will not experience any interruption of services for its Humana patients. The two other surgical facilities (Westside Regional Medical Center and Southwest Ohio Ambulatory Surgery Center) that currently do not have Humana provider agreements will enter the Humana provider network on or around May 1 — as soon as the Humana credentialing process is complete, says Prexus. All new contracts will run until Dec. 31, 2009.
