Estimates on the HHS website, HealthCare.gov show premiums for a 50-year-old are $552-$675 a month in Florida, $400-$600 in New York and $491-$600 in Texas.
The Congressional Budget Office estimates that as many as 700,000 will enroll in the state-based risk pools, which are being subsidized by the federal government.
While 29 states and Washington, D.C., administer their own risk pools, the federal government will run the risk pools in the other 21 states.
