Dr. Booth, a board-certified ophthalmologist, received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Mary Baldwin College in Roanoke, Va., and her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va. She studied at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami in the ophthalmology selective program and completed her internship in internal medicine at the Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Ga., and her ophthalmology residency at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine.
