Physician group converts Wal-Mart into medical park with BBL’s help

BBL planned, designed and retrofitted a former Wal-Mart to convert it into the HIMG Regional Medical Park in Huntington, W.Va.

The 130,000 square-foot facility was renovated and another 17,000 square feet was added onto the facility to accommodate additional tenants. The Huntington Internal Medical Group is a 64-physician multispecialty practice with primary care and various medical subspecialties.

The new medical center will include all group specialties and an imaging center. The facility was designed for user-friendliness and convenience for patients and staff. The facility was delivered on time and on budget.
