Pennsylvania’s Mount Nittany Surgical Center Appoints New Administrator

Mount Nittany Surgical Center in State College, Pa., has appointed William Stangl as its new administrator, according to a report from the Centre Daily Times.

He will be responsible for oversight of scheduling, staffing and financial operations, and quality control and compliance standards.

 

The ambulatory surgery center is a freestanding facility with four ORs, a specialty-procedure room, is accredited by AAAHC and performs approximately 5,2000 surgeries and procedures annually, according to the surgery center’s website.

Mr. Stangl comes to the ASC having previously served as administrator at Northern Wyoming Surgical Center in Cody, Wyo., and Mercy Health Services/Bon Secours-Holy Family Health System in Altoona, Pa., according to the report.
