Pennsylvania’s Lancaster General Hospital Selects ProVation MD Software

Wolters Kluwer Health has announced Lancaster (Pa.) General Hospital has selected its ProVation MD software for gastroenterology documentation, coding and image integration, according to a news release (pdf).

ProVation MD, which is available for a full range of specialties, replaces dictation and transcription and allows physicians to document procedures at the point of care, according to a company news release.

 

“Lancaster General Hospital is an organization dedicated to providing the highest quality of service and care, as evidenced by its many awards and recognitions,” said Arvind Subramanian, president and CEO, Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Solutions, in the release. “We are pleased that they have chosen ProVation MD for GI to further this mission and provide streamlined documentation and coding for the nearly 8,000 GI procedures performed annually in its five procedure rooms.”

 

LGH is the keystone of Lancaster General Health, a not-for-profit 623-bed healthcare system that includes Women & Babies Hospital, the Suburban Outpatient Pavilion, VNA Community Care Services, Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic and LG College of Nursing & Health Sciences. The system also operates 10 outpatient facilities, the Lancaster General Medical Group of primary and specialty care physician practices and community and school-based health clinics.
