Pennsylvania Patient Safety Authority Receives ‘Partnership for Patients’ Grant

The Pennsylvania Patient Safety Authority has received a federal grant to pursue three statewide initiatives, as part of the federal Partnership for Patients program.

The $1.6 million grant will go toward three projects to improve rates of wrong-site surgery, adverse drug events and patient falls. The Pennsylvania Patient Safety Authority will partner with the Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania on these efforts over the next two years.
