AORN Calls for Comments on Revised Position Statement on APRNs in Perioperative Settings

The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses is asking members to comment on a revised position statement on the role of advanced practice registered nurses in preoperative settings.

The position statement had been previously revised to account for comments made by Congress. The revised version includes the definition of advanced practice registered nurses, their role in perioperative settings, their functions as first assistants and clinical privileging.
