Report Cards Reveal High SSI Rates Post-Vaginal Hysterectomies in Massachusetts

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health will publish healthcare quality report cards for more than 70 hospitals, which showed women in the state suffer twice as many surgical site infections after vaginal hysterectomies than national rates, according to a Boston Globe report.
