AMA Opposes FDA Plan to Make Prescription Drugs OTC

While the FDA proposed to make common prescription drugs, including those that treat diabetes, asthma and migraines, available over the counter in order to increase access to these medications, the American Medical Association says such a move could lead to patient harm, according to a USA Today report.
