Joint Commission, S.C. Hospitals Launch Safety, Quality Project

The Joint Commission Center for Transforming Healthcare and the South Carolina Hospital Association announced the launch of the South Carolina Safe Care Commitment, an initiative to improve patient safety and quality.

The multi-year initiative includes 20 hospitals from seven health systems across the state, and aims to improve hospitals’ processes, systems and structures, ultimately leading to consistently safe and high-quality care.
