Patient Safety Advocates Create New England Voices For Error Reduction

A group of patient safety advocates in Connecticut have joined to form the New England Voices For Error Reduction, according to a New Haven Independent report.

Among their goals, NEVER hopes to establish an educational platform for both consumers and the medical community as well as monitor and review data on CT overuse, medically unnecessary surgeries and infections. The group also seeks to provide patients with quality information to help inform their choice when selecting a healthcare provider.
