Dr. Giering received his medical degree from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Albany, N.Y., and completed a fellowship in pain management at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Va. Previously, he developed a pain management practice while on staff at Rutland (Vt.) Regional Medical Center.
