The University of South Florida in Tampa has announced the opening of a $4 million surgery center that will be used to teach physicians how to perform robotic-assisted surgery, according to a report in the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

The healthcare sector added around 20,000 jobs in July, in line with the average month gain seen in the first half of 2009, according to a news release from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
