The goal is to prevent healthcare workers’ exposure to physical, chemical, biological and airborne hazards, as well as to improve emergency preparedness, according to the release. OSHA and JCR will provide information and access to training resources to help healthcare employers protect workers and understand their responsibilities under the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
