Orthopedic surgeon Andrew Rosen, MD, performed the MAKOplasty procedure last week. He said the technology enables a speedy, less invasive and cost-effective surgical solution that can efficiently replace traditional knee surgery techniques.

According to Glen K. Lau, managing director of Midtown Surgery Center, upgrades in minimally invasive techniques will ensure joint replacement surgery moves into the outpatient setting.
