The company has been interested in minimally invasive patient care, and the acquisition of Gyrus AMCI, a supplier of medical visualization and energy systems, has been part of that goal. The acquisition strengthened the company’s presence in gastroenterology, pulmonology, urology, gynecology, ENT, general surgery and anesthesiology markets.
