Dr. Royal, who ran Royal Treatment Urgent Care in Perrysburg, Ohio, was indicted on one count of telecommunications fraud and three counts each of insurance fraud and theft. She allegedly filed more than $900,000 in false claims to insurance companies and received more than $100,000 in payments between Oct. 2004 and July 2009.
She is scheduled to go to trial Aug. 16.
