Ohio Medical Device Firm Wins State Tax Credit for Lab Expansion

North American Science Associates, a medical device research organization in Toledo, Ohio, has received a tax credit from the State of Ohio for expansion of its toxicology lab, according to a MedCity report.

The six-year, 70 percent tax credit will begin in January. In return, NAMSA has agreed to maintain operations at the location for at least 10 years.

 

NAMSA specializes in clinical trials and product testing for all types of medical devices. The company expects increased demand from both international and domestic customers.
