Ms. McCullough began working at Radiance Surgery Center, owned by Lori Cherup, MD, in Nov. 2006. Beginning in May 2007, Ms. McCullough began transferring money from Radiance to her personal accounts and was eventually discovered by Dr. Cherup, according to court documents cited in an article by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Ms. McCullough will be sentenced on August 27. She faces up to six years in prison.
