Dr. Dave Owens Hailed for Involvement in Roseburg SurgiCenter Upon Retirement

Dave Owens, MD, has been hailed for his involvement in Roseburg (Ore.) SurgiCenter since his recent retirement from the Roseburg medical community, according to a NECN report.

According to the report, Dr. Owens was instrumental in creating Roseburg’s first outpatient surgery center 20 years ago. The surgery center, then called Roseburg SurgiCenter, was originally located on Harvard Avenue and has since moved closer to Mercy Medical Center.

The surgery center has also been renamed Oregon Surgery Center. For 30 years, Dr. Owens also shared a practice with Jim Scott, MD.
