EndoChoice Receives FDA Clearance for Water Bottle Cap Irrigation System

EndoChoice has received FDA approval for a new water bottle cap irrigation system, according to an Atlanta Business Chronicle report.

When used in conjunction with an irrigation pump, the system is designed to provide irrigation via a sterile water supply, according to the report. The system is intended for use during gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures.

 

The device received FDA clearance in November.

 

EndoChoice, which describes itself as a platform technology company providing devices, diagnostics and procedural support for specialists treating a wide range of gastrointestinal diseases, is headquartered in Alpharetta, Ga.
