The project has already received contingent approval from New York’s Department of Health and will be considered for final approval by the State Hospital Review & Planning Council on April 8, according to the story.
According to plans filed with the state health department, the ASC would be the first in Cattaraugus County. The ASC is expected to handle surgery in areas including otolaryngology, colorectal, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, orthopedic, urology, podiatry, neurosurgery and dentistry.
