New York Hospital Breaks Ground on New Surgery Center in Poughkeepsie

Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., has announced it has broken ground on a new ASC as part of a roughly $66 million, 78,000-square-foot expansion project.

The expansion, expected to be completed by spring 2012, will include the ASC, a medical office building, parking garage and café/retail space, with the potential for outpatient imaging.

 

The new surgery center will be 26,000 square feet and include four operating theatres, according to a news release from the hospital.

 

Vassar Brothers Medical Center is a Health Quest hospital system affiliate.
