A representative of the Association for Quality Imaging, a trade group in Washington, warned imaging executives that nothing is sacred as a new “super committee,” made up of 12 members of the Senate and House, readies to make required federal spending cuts by Nov. 23.
The AQI representative said the imaging industry is particularly vulnerable to cuts because it isn’t as politically entrenched in Washington as some other interest groups.
