Mission Outpatient Spine Center will open Sept. 7 and be staffed by three surgeons from Carolina Spine and Neurosurgery Center in Asheville — orthopedic surgeon Hubert L. Gooch, MD, and neurosurgeons Richard A. Lytle Jr., MD, and Wesley C. Fowler III, MD, FACS, according to the report.
Services at the center will include evaluations, MRI and CT diagnostic testing, treatments and physical therapy from physical therapists under the direction of the surgeons. Patients who need spine surgery will undergo their procedure at Mission Hospital in Asheville.
