The hospital opened the new pain management clinic to address a growing patient population in need of pain management care. Before the clinic opened, many patients — as many as 80 patients a month — needed to travel to other parts of Minnesota to find a pain physician for steroid injections or anesthetic treatment for pain relief, according to the news report.
