Delegates will talk to lawmakers about the impending medical device company tax set to begin in 2013. The effort, coordinated through AdvaMed’s State Medical Technology Alliance, which organizes trips for state associations representing the medical device industry, aims to provide a boost to Rep. Erik Paulsen’s (R-Minn.) bill to repeal the medical device tax. The bill has 228 co-sponsors in the House, and a vote is expected soon.
