New Jersey Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers Names New President

The New Jersey Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers has named Sharon DeMato as its new president, according to a report in the Somerset Reporter.

Ms. DeMato, a resident of Martinsville, N.J., is a 12-year member of NJAASC and has previously served as its vice president. She is the chief of operations at the Endo-Surgi Center of Union, Endo-Surgi Center of Old Bridge and Center for Digestive Diseases in Union, N.J.

Ms. DeMato is a member of the New Jersey State Nurses Association and is board certified by the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses.
