The health fair, which is co-sponsored by the Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce, replaces a health fair formerly sponsored by town of Union, which is no longer held.
All 15 physician-owners of the facility as well as a nutritionist and fitness trainer will be on hand to meet with visitors and answer questions.
The fair will feature free glucose, blood pressure, body fat and cholesterol screenings, spine evaluations and a blood drive. Additionally a number of raffles and giveaways, such as free glucometers and emergency backpacks for families in need, will be available for participants.
The event is being sponsored by a number of organizations, including the United Way, AmeriHealth, Pathology Consultants, First State Bank and Valley National Bank.
The fair aims to save lives through its screenings and an additional colonoscopy questionnaire that will be given to participants.
