A series of public service announcements and a new Web site are designed to educate patients on the kinds of questions they should ask their physicians regarding prescriptions, surgery and other procedures. The Web site provides lists of sample questions and suggestions on how patients can follow-up with their physicians after the visit.

The new PSAs are an extension of the AHRQ’s patient involvement PSA campaign, which launched in March 2007, according to the release.
