More Americans Would Leave Reforms Intact Than Strip Anything Out

In a poll asking Americans to name parts of the new health reform law they would most like to see the GOP repeal, more respondents would leave the law intact than strip anything out of it, according to a release from Vanity Fair.

The 60 Minutes-Vanity Fair poll found that 42 percent would leave the bill alone, while 30 percent would remove the mandate to buy health insurance.

In addition, 8 percent would rescind provisions stopping insurers from denying coverage; another 8 percent would dump allowing young adults to stay on their parents’ coverage until age 26; and 2 percent would get rid of expanded prescription drug coverage for Medicare beneficiaries.
