Two Mississippi Residents Convicted of $18M Physical Therapy Medicare Fraud Scheme

LaTanicia McMillan Rogers and Wayne Rogers, both of Moss Point, Miss., have been convicted for their roles in an $18 million Medicare fraud scheme, according to a report by the Sun Herald.

The defendants were involved in a scheme to fraudulently bill Medicare for physical therapy services by claiming the services were provided by a physician when in fact they were not.

The two are scheduled for sentencing on Aug. 2, according to the report.
