High Pointe Surgery Center’s Dr. Mark Dahl Performs First Unicompartmental Knee Replacement for Center

High Pointe Surgery Center in Lake Elmo, Minn., has performed its first outpatient unicompartmental knee replacement, according to a news release.

The surgery was performed by Mark Dahl, MD, of St. Croix Orthopaedics P.A. According to the report, High Pointe has partnered with St. Croix Orthopaedics to develop an outpatient joint program in an environment tailored to the patient’s needs. Certain criteria must be met for a person to be considered for outpatient joint replacement.

In operation since 1999, High Pointe Surgery Center has treated more than 50,000 patients. It is a collaborative partnership between Lakeview Health System in Stillwater, Minn., and local physicians.
