The hospital began rolling out the surveillance system in July 2012. The hospital also uses a pharmacy module from ICNet that interfaces with the electronic medical record system to ensure appropriate prescribing of antibiotics, detect and prevent adverse drug events and provide more accurate reports on a quality metrics.
