Microline Pentax Changes Name to Microline Surgical

Microline Pentax, a maker of reposable instruments, has changed its name to Microline Surgical, according to a release from Microline Surgical.

The Beverly, Mass.-based company is also launching a new logo and Web site.

Microline Surgical, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tokyo-based Hoya Corp., makes an integrated modular laparoscopic instrumentation system consisting of reusable handpieces with disposable tips.
