The MidTowne Surgery Center will provide outpatient surgery to adults and children and is located in the heart of the downtown Medical Mile, on the second floor of the Women’s Health Center.
The facility features three state-of-the-art operating suites where physicians will perform surgical procedures for a number of medical specialties including orthopedic, urological, gynecological, ENT and cosmetic. As demand increases, Metro Health plans to expand the breadth and scope of surgical services offered, according to the release.
“For the past three years, Metro Health has been searching for an appropriate second site where we can provide outpatient surgical services,” Mike Faas, president and CEO of Metro Health, said in the release. “Input from patients and physicians, as well as increasing demand, prompted us to select a location on the Medical Mile.”
