The mental health parity bill passed by the House of Representatives last week includes a section that would effectively eliminate physician ownership of hospitals. The language of the bill touches on 14 key facets of physician-owned hospitals, which was covered in the March 17 edition of the Becker’s ASC E-Weekly.
