The EDI connectivity allows a secure electronic submission of a purchase order to the vendor and also the receipt of an acknowledgement which provides the status of each item.
At the time of receiving the acknowledgement, the Mednet system will generate an alert, transmitted via dashboard and e-mail, informing the purchaser that the order was received and processed, according to a company news release.
