Medicare Suspends Licenses, Reinstates Them Quickly

Medicare frequently suspends licenses but then reinstates them quickly after arranging hearings that government officials can’t attend, an Associated Press report said.

The report also said the Medicare has failed to collect on security bonded issues two years ago to keep providers from disappearing. Officials said millions of dollars are uncollected.
