The 30 day extension would allow Congress to pass a more permanent solution to the planned cuts, if both the House and Senate choose to act.
The AMA is urging Congress to “permanently repeal the flawed Medicare physician payment formula that puts access to care for seniors and military families at risk,” according to the release.
