According to the report, the hospital district will use $150,000 to implement a prevention initiative for bacterial pneumonia, dehydration and urinary tract infection in Angelina County. The other $50,000 will be used to implement an initiative to prevent bacterial pneumonia in San Augustine County. The health district aims to reduce unnecessary hospital admissions from these conditions by 15 percent.
