The FDA has come under scrutiny by U.S. senators for a perceived failure to take earlier public action with H&P Industries and the Triad Group over the possible manufacturing sterility and contamination problems.
In addition to the medical pads and wipes recall, H&P Industries has also recalled lubricating jelly and laxative suppositories, according to the MSNBC report.
