The following nine specialties have 50 percent or more of their physicians expecting to participate in MACRA in 2017, according to the “Medscape Physician Compensation Report 2017.”

Here is the breakdown of the percent of physicians expecting to participate  in MACRA by specialty:

•    Ophthalmology: 64 percent
•    Nephrology: 61 percent
•    Urology: 60 percent
•    Dermatology: 57 percent
•    Cardiology: 55 percent
•    Gastroenterology: 54 percent
•    Anesthesiology: 53 percent
•    Radiology: 50 percent
•    Otolaryngology: 50 percent
